1. Canon PIXMA iP8720

5. Kodak Mini

The Kodak Mini photo printer is the first portable device on this list.

It has a larger touchscreen display than the other PIXMAs we’ve mentioned, plus a host of useful features.

If you have a DSLR camera, you can quickly connect to the printer and produce magnificent prints at 4800 x 1200 dpi. Those epic landscape shots and beautiful portraits will look amazing thanks to the 6-ink color system.

If your studio or home office has limited space, the Pixma TS9120 won’t intrude. Canon has created an unbelievably compact printer.

Unfortunately, this means it can’t produce A3 prints, but this is a minor drawback. If you want to print many A4 or 6×4-inch photos for an album, the TS9120 boasts fast print speeds and standout quality.

7. Epson SureColor P600

The Epson SureColor P600 photo printer is perfect if you want to print photos in high-quality or in large sizes.

It is equipped with a roll-feeder which allows for large paper sizes to be printed, including panoramic shots. Although the P600 is bulky and a bit expensive, the quality and functionality are superb.

It’s capable of printing at 5760 x 1440 dpi, so any large-size prints still retain sharpness and details. Furthermore, the quality touchscreen control panel makes it super easy to use this printer.

8. Epson Expression Premium ET-7750 EcoTank

If you prefer functionality over style, the Epson Expression Premium EcoTank ET-7750 is a great choice. It is quite large but has a functional design that produces amazing quality prints at high speed (at 28ppm one of the fastest print speeds on this list)

Connection methods include Wi-Fi, USB, Google Cloud Print, and Apple AirPrint. A tray capacity of 100 sheets combined with quick print speeds makes this printer perfect for producing bulk work straight from the studio.

9. Brother MFC-J690DW

The Brother MFC-J690DW is the most affordable option on our best photo printers list. It is compact and has a flat design. Although there is no touchscreen, the control panel still offers superb control over the printing process.

The maximum resolution is 6000 x 1200 DPI, and the 4-cartridge system produces brilliant photo prints. Moreover, color printing is achieved at a rate of 10 ppm, which is certainly respectable.

The MFC-J690DW also has a variety of direct printing options and connectivity. The printer accepts SD, SDHC, plus multimedia cards. Additionally, the printer has both USB and Wi-Fi connectivity.
